While promoting his latest film, Denzel Washington addresses racial disparities in America with some hard truths that few are willing to talk about. Net neutrality is back again and I give my perspective on the issue and how regulation helps the big players stay in business reducing competition from new, smaller businesses who could help increase competition and lower prices.

After 20 years with the company, Apple’s black VP of Inclusion and Diversity has “departed” shortly after statements about diversity among white people. Twitter’s newest set of rules regarding hate speech go into effect in December and I share a bizarre discovery related to their upcoming cookie policy. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. In an attempt to increase relevant skills amongst our youth, The Guardian believes the push to teach kids to code is really all about lowering wages. I also share my thoughts on the now infamous NYT article, “Can My Children Be Friends With White People?”

Over the past week, Twitter managed to suspend Donald Trump’s account and admit to censoring #DNCLeak during the 2016 election. The politics of Silicon Valley gets even more confusing with a recent article detailing the amount of money fueled in from Saudi Arabia - far from a political ideal for Bay Area liberals.

This week, Congress asks Big Tech about Russia’s level of influence in the 2016 election. I argue this is a case of Congress blaming the bearer of fake news.
